10th Annual Komen Race for the Cure

So, I did it! Today was the 5k run/walk race for the cure for breast cancer. I figured since I've been swimming twice a week at the aquatic center for most of my pregnancy, I could easily handle a 5k walk at 35 weeks pregnant! I think I finished in just over an hour, which I was pretty pleased with. I looked around but didn't see any other preggos walking around. I was amazed at the turnout! The weather was cool --perfect for me. Despite sore hips after the race, I felt great and was glad I could participate. My doctor had joked that maybe this walk would start labor, but so far--nothing. Guess she's going to stay put for a few more weeks :)
