Alysaa had her first visit with her pediatrician this afternoon. No jaundice and she has gained a few ounces back so she's exactly 8 pounds now (down from birth weight yet). Everything else checked out great!
My mom and I took Alyssa on her first outing yesterday to Walmart to have some pictures taken. She did great and of course I got suckered into buying more than I thought I would. So hard to resist her adorable face! At night, Mark and I took Alyssa to meet Great Grandpa and Grandma Lucas. What a busy day! Mark and I are adjusting well and loving every minute with our new daughter! Alyssa is also getting excited to meet all of our friends :)

Congratulations you two on the birth of Alyssa Joy!! Brooke is so excited that I just had to visit this site. I hope you let me hold your sweet baby girl when Brooke and I come to visit!
