Sickness strikes again!

So unfortunately, our home has been struck again by sickness. Mark had the respiratory influenza (which could have been prevented by a flu shot) and a sinus infection. Just about the time he started feeling better, I got hit with a cough/cold and am still struggling with that. Praise God that Alyssa has stayed healthy this time around! She spent the day yesterday with her Aunt Kate, and cousins Dominic, Briana, and Jacob. It was nice for her to be out of our sick house and around some entertainment of a healthy house!

Uncle Matt and Aunt Sarah watched Alyssa on Monday night so we could go to a congregational meeting at chuch. Thanks guys!

I love this picture because it reminds me of myself. When I go to sleep, I often put a pillow over my face/eyes. I find Alyssa more often with a blanket covering some of her face. Notice her little fingers still gripping her toy even as she sleeps.
