Not a whole lot new in the Lucas household. Alyssa is loving the warmer weather and we have been enjoying many walks and bike rides. I still have to buy her a kiddie swimming pool and try that out. She loves bathtime so I'm hopeful she'll enjoy being in the pool as well. In other exciting news, we finally got new couches for the living room which means that the plaid ones have finally found their home in the basement -- YES! The only sad part about this move is that Mark also moved his large, flat screen TV downstairs along with his couches. I still think it was worth it though :)
We discovered that Alyssa loves these strawberry popsickles. She is more than happy to sit by us when we have one of these in our hands. I'm not above bribery :)
Sporting one of her many scratches. Now that she's standing and pulling herself up on everything, she takes her share of tumbles (this one on the TV stand)
Here is a picture of the river on 104th and Adams St after the weekend flood. We often walk under the bridge and up by Ridgepoint church...I guess it will be awhile before we can walk that route again!
