Apple Pickin' & Deep Rippin'

Today was a beautiful fall day to get outside and enjoy the weather so we packed up the stroller and headed to the Farmer's Market this morning. This afternoon we headed to Crane's Orchard with my mom to pick some apples (the Honey Crisp were calling our names but they aren't allowed to be picked until Saturday--the lady made sure we knew that!) We made sure to take home a few cider donuts too :)

After Crane's we stopped to visit Mark at the farm in Fennville. Alyssa got her first tractor ride! Mark said we were deep ripping the field (hence the second part of this post's title). Farm girl in the making you ask? No, she really did not enjoy herself in the tractor-- maybe next year?
Here she is enjoying her spinning and bouncing zebra that she got for Christmas last year.
I just love this picture. Here she sits reading a story (okay, so the book is upside down) to her teddy bear. Yes, she is her mother's daughter and this definately shows her Schrotenboer side.

**And finally a message from Alyssa: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE MIKE! Mommy says to enjoy a margarita for her ;)"
