Alyssa's first holiday mishap. I hung the stockings on the fireplace last week not thinking anything about it. Saturday night she grabbed one; the stocking, along with the super heavy holder, came down on her eyebrow. I thought for sure we were headed to the ER for stitches but once we had the blood cleaned up, it really didn't look so bad. Needless to say, there will be no stockings this year unless I find a better place to hang them. We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday!

Poor Alyssa, glad she didn't have to go to the ER but sooner or later they all do unfortunately. Hope your feeling better too.

Vicki, we had the same thing happen with the stockings last year, except it missed the kid and hit a table and put a nice dent in it. Those things are brutal! I'm so glad it didn't require stitches. See you Sunday!
