Happy 1st Birthday!

Kaylee, I cannot believe you are 1 year old today! I remember feeling so much anxiety over how you were going to fit into our family and whether I would have enough love to go around. You came into the world 13 days early and caught all of us by surprise. From the moment Daddy and I laid eyes on you at exactly 7:00am, we fell in love. You spent the first few months totally attached to your Mommy and would scream if anyone else was watching you (including your Dad). I thought that was kind of cute that you favored me--at first. Eventually, you warmed up to family, friends, and your big sister. Alyssa loved you from the first day even though you were a little hesitant about her--(she tends to smother you sometimes...with love of course). We love your quiet personality and how you easily roll with the flow. You started sleeping through the night from a very young age and still continue to do so. You are patient with us and absolutely adore watching and laughing at your big sister. You do things in your own time and we are perfectly content with that. We love you Kaylee and although you were born just a few short days after Christmas, we promise to celebrate your life each year. Daddy, Alyssa and I are blessed to have you in our lives and we look forward to celebrating many birthdays with you! 6 months
