Missing CA

Last week Mark and I, along with Phil and Heather Geerlings, headed off for a whirlwind trip to California for a farm show. The guys did all their farm stuff while we shopped :) Heather and I did go along to see one farm one evening (we really had no other choice) so we can now say we've officially seen where happy cows come from. We were gone from Wednesday to Saturday and spent a lot of time on planes and in the rental car but overall, we had a nice time and the weather was sunny and in the low 60s. The girls were very spoiled by both sets of grandparents and Aunt Kristin while we were away. Thanks for watching our girls and allowing us to get away for awhile (even if it was only to a farm show).


I decided pulling both girls on the sled in the snow is better than my treadmill workouts!

Instead of taking a nap, Alyssa decided she wanted to help me clean. She loves to help with sweeping, dusting and laundry.
