Our 2 week appointments

Bryce and I both had 2 week doctor appointments this morning. Our little man weighed in at 8lbs, 11oz and was 20.5 inches long! Great job buddy! He is doing great other than still having his nights and days a bit mixed up. He is fighting off some congestion so we'll blame it on that (for now). I cannot believe how much I enjoy having a little boy in our home. We have been so blessed with 3 healthy children who continue to bring us joy and entertainment :)

The girls like to keep Bryce company during tummy time. He is my first child to really enjoy laying on his belly.

Kaylee usually needs to hold Bryce just once a day for a maximum of a minute. Alyssa has been such a big helper. She has been feeding him bottles, trying to burp him, and has been running and grabbing diapers for us when we need them. These girls are so in love with their little brother. I hope they continue to be protective of him as he grows up!

On a seperate note, it is our 5 year anniversary today! It amazes me that in 5 years we have had 3 kids. I truly cannot remember our life together without our kids. Normally we (I) like to go up north to Traverse City for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary but this year it looks like we'll be sticking around closer to home and hopefully enjoying a night out with just the two of us. Can't wait to see what the next 5 years bring!
