Oh Bryce...so many changes for this 5 month old! Bryce had 2 teeth pop through within the last week. One on top and one on the bottom. He has at least 1 more that should poke through on the top any day now. Bryce is also sitting on his own! He tips over quite a bit, but has really enjoyed this new freedom!
Bryce started rice cereal at 5 months. He did okay but really seemed to enjoy it much more when I mixed in the sweet potatoes. He's not getting cereal consistantly yet, but it's a start.
I threw a baby shower for Kristin on June 18th. I am so excited to be an aunt to this little guy! It will be great for Bryce to have a best friend so close in age since he is stuck with two big sisters :) We love him so much already and can't wait until August 18th!
And for Birdie...she went for her two and a half year doctor appointment this morning. She weighed in at a whopping 24 pounds (4%) and is 33.5 inches tall (6%). Healthy as a peach!

Grandpa and Grandma Schrotenboer took the girls to the Herman Miller Picnic at the fairgrounds last weekend. Here is Kaylee with her face painted and one of the many "treasures" she came home with. The girls had a great time!
Still afraid of the vacuum so this is her "safe spot" behind the couch.
Onto Alyssa...this little girlie had a busy week last week!
We went to a pig roast at the Meeuwsen's last Saturday night. Here are the girls with Carter eating their supper.
The bounce house. Alyssa and Cater got pretty brave on this thing!
And the beloved Nemo pinata was a complete HIT! It was nice that Carter and Alyssa were the first two to take a hit because poor Nemo didn't last long enough to allow for all the kids to take a whack at him.
Alyssa was able to attend VBS at Community Church this year with her friend Carter. Here they are Sunday morning singing in their program.
