Pumpkin carving

Every year since Alyssa was born, we have always bought pumpkins in October. This year however, was the first year we actually carved them. I was a little nervous that the girls would be grossed out by the guts, but they got pretty into it and were soon flinging the guts all over the place. I'm glad to know my girls are willing to get a little dirty once in awhile :)

And Bryce...he turned 9 months on the 19th of this month. This little man is now pulling himself up and cruising along furniture. He is also trying to climb our stairs. I am NOT ready for this! At 9 months, Bryce has 8 teeth, eats baby food 3x per day, loves his cheerios, still wakes at least once in the night to eat, wears a size 3 diaper, and 9 month clothes. At his 9 month well visit he weighed in at 19lbs (39%) and was 27 inches (7%).

Last week Thursday I packed the kids up and we headed down to Fennville to give the girls a chance to ride in the combine. The girls rode for an hour with Mark before Bryce and I joined them. Bryce loved it and eventually relaxed enough to fall asleep. We went to look at the calves after that and then went to the famous Blue Goose for lunch with Mark and great Uncle Mike. What a fun day!
