The start to summer!

Summer has begun! The warm temps over Memorial Day made it feel like July so we hit the beach, swam in our pool in the backyard, and played on the beach at Sandy Pines.  My social work job of 6 years came to an end last Thursday.  Our company was taken over and our small staff was left without jobs.  While we knew this was always a possibility, it has still been difficult to deal with the reality and finality of it all.   I worked only part time, but spent 6 years seeing the same 2 people week after week.  Transitions and change are always particularly difficult for me but I'm praying God has an even better job out there for me!  In the meantime, I will be trying to adjust to being home FULL TIME with all 3 kids!  I have always been the mom that needs to have a good balance of both working inside and outside of the home.  If I had to pick a season in which to lose my job, it would be definately be summer :)  Focus on the positives!
