9 months and baby steps

Alyssa is now 9 months (and one day) old. She has a second tooth now on the bottom and her top two teeth should push through any day now. She is starting to stand for a short time on her own without hanging onto anything and last night, she took one small step on her own from the coffee table to the couch. I wouldn't call it walking yet, but she is sure on her way! She loves to play peek-a-boo, patty cake, and "Sooo big" Where is the time going??? We love this little girl so much and are so blessed to have her in our lives.
9 months stats:
Weight: 18lbs, 3oz (38%) Height: 27 inches (31%), I don't remember the head circ. but that was also in the 30th percentile.

On a much more serious note, please remember to keep the Busscher family in your prayers as they struggle with the "why's" of losing their precious 18 month old daughter. Being a parent myself, I cannot begin to imagine the loss they are feeling. Pray that they feel God's peace in the weeks and months ahead.
