Glad the week is over...

Tuesday night I went to bed feeling fine but by 12:30am, I woke up in an extreme amount of pain in my lower back/abdomen on my right side accompanied with nausea and vomiting. After unsucessfully trying to get some relief for many hours, I decided to call the emergency number to my doctor's office at 7:00am. Following his advice, we headed to the ER Wednesday morning at 7:30am not knowing what to expect. The baby's heartrate was perfectly normal and I was feeling her move a lot so there were no problems there. I was given a shot in my hip of morphine and an anti-nausea medication and sent home about 2 hours later with an antibiotic and some vicodin. The exact cause of the pain is still unknown but the doctor suspected I had some sort of infection in my kidney, causing it to swell, and then causing the pain. Again, we're not 100% sure on this though. I have a follow up visit/28 week appointment on Monday so I'm hoping to hear more then. Either way, I'm very thankful to be feeling better and to know that our little girl is fine. Mark did a great job of taking care of both me and Alyssa --gave him a little sense of being home all day with an 11 month old! :)

Hmmmm......what are these bubbles doing in my tub?

So this was cute until she started to eat the Mum. YUCK!
