4 months

Kaylee is 4 months old today! She weighed in at 12lbs, 5oz (25% -- more than a whole pound lighter than Alyssa at this age!) and was just about 24 inches long. I think she's going to stay small like Alyssa is. She did great for her shots and barely cried. Kaylee's lungs and ears were perfectly clear which was a relief because she has been fighting a cough/cold for more than 3 weeks now. We were told to hold off a little while longer before starting any cereal. I'm secretly glad for that because drinking milk is so much easier (and cleaner) than dealing with a spoon :)

My sister-in-law came down on Friday afternoon with Briana and Jacob (we missed you, Dominic!). It was very warm outside so we let the kids burn off some energy. Here are the girls sitting in the rocks under the deck.

Jacob and Alyssa both skipped their naps so they decided to take a quick little rest with Briana. Here we spend all this money on soft, cozy beds and blankets, when all they need are some rocks and the sunshine!
