How can that be?

How can it be that I have a year and half old already? Alyssa had her 18 month appt. this week and weighed in at 22 lbs, 8oz, and measured 30 and a half inches tall . She is now terrified of going to the doctor and who can blame her? They always poke at her. She sat on my lap for the entire visit clinging to me with her arms wrapped around my neck. She was one day early for one of her shots so now we have to go back this week to have that done. How silly is that? The torture continues...


We ventured out to Holland on Friday night to try and grab some pictures with the tulips but this is all I got. I went cheap this year and decided to skip the whole dutch costume thing. As we walked around downtown, Alyssa was eyeing a woman's carmael corn and the lady stopped Mark and asked if she could give her some. She insisted that she couldn't resist Alyssa's cute little face. So, Alyssa reached right into her bag and grabbed a huge handful. Nice to know that others think our little girl is cute too :)
