Water rats

We've spent more time at the beach again this past week. Wednesday night we headed back out to the state park after Mark got home from work. This time Kaylee stepped foot off from her towel! She decided she didn't mind the sand afterall. She walked right into the water by herself too. I'm glad she liked it more but I have to admit it was really so much easier when she just stayed on her towel :) On Saturday afternoon we headed up to Hoffmaster State Park to visit my parents who were camping there for the weekend. We had a great afternoon and some very tired girls!

Poor little Birdie came down with some sort of infection on Friday and her eyes were a terrible mess. She seemed to get a little better as the weekend progressed but I decided to call the doctor this afternoon just to be safe. I suspected pinkeye but the doctor wanted to check her out. So, both girls missed their naps and we packed up and headed to the doctor. Apparently Kaylee has an ear infection and her eyes are all infected and she was diagnosed with conjunctivitis. This is the first time either of my girls has ever had an ear infection! I guess we could only escape it for so long. While we were waiting for the doctor to come into the room to check her out, she puked all over -- luckily most of it got in the sink. Ugh! Anyway, picked up a script on the way home and hopefully she'll be on the mend in 24 hours or so.
