Party of Five!

That's right! In case you hadn't already heard, we are expecting baby #3 in January! Alyssa has already decided it's a girl and she wants to name it after her favorite person -- Kristin! We will find out the gender sometime in September and yes, we will share. I'm 15 weeks and feeling great. This pregnancy is bittersweet for us as we have just walked through a very difficult journey with our dearest friends. We have realized now more than ever, what a true blessing our little girls are and these precious babies are just on loan to us from our Heavenly Father and we will cherish each and every day that they are here with us.

Blueberry picking. We decided we couldn't wait long enough for the Fennville ones, so we headed out and actually paid for them this year :) I kept Kaylee trapped in the stroller but that didn't stop her from picking.

Alyssa took her job of picking blueberries very seriously. She's even got her little bucket tied around her waist so she could pick with both hands. She did a great job of picking just the blue ones.

And our most exciting news this week, we are working on potty training Alyssa. She has been using the potty on and off since last July but recently, we've decided to get more aggressive with it. She is doing fantastic and has been staying dry during the night and has gone over 24 hours dry at a time! She loves wearing her big girl princess underwear. Kaylee is her biggest cheerleader and will clap and yell when Alyssa has been successful. I'm hoping she'll soon want to mimic her big sister and use the potty too :) Oh, and just in case you're wondering, I closed my facebook account. I do plan to keep the blog updated so for those of you who care what we're up to, you can still follow us.
