Conference Grounds and Sandy Pines

What a week we had!  We spent a few days camping at the Conference Grounds in Grand Haven last week with the kids.  The girls did great and loved every second of it.  Alyssa found some friends out there and would have spent every single minute at their trailer if I had let her.  Bryce loved it too but would not sleep well at night so I took him home one morning at 4am so he and I could get a few hours of sleep before heading back out.  Other than the sleeping thing and one very terrible afternoon with the two youngest kids, we had a good time.  I am not ready to camp again anytime soon though :)

Sunday afternoon we headed out to Sandy Pines for some time in the water before the rain started to fall.  Kaylee was along too but is not in these pictures.  She stayed back at the trailer to take care of Grandpa and Bitty Baby.

Sorry about the Dora swimmies Bryce-man!  Being the youngest and the only boy, I know you're already used to having to wear some girlie gear.

The boys hanging out poolside.

Alyssa had to take Aunt Abby down the slide for the first time :)  Alyssa just loves her aunt!

And for some pictures of our camping adventure.  I forgot my nice camera so these pictures were taken from my phone and I cannot figure out how to make them bigger with them blurring...
Beachin' it

boogie board.  Kaylee thought saying "boogie" was hilarious!

Cartwheels on the beach

A few awesome dads put together this slip n slide on the beach one afternoon.  I'll bet there were 50 kids lined up at one point.  Alyssa went down many times and had some sore buns afterwards.  She told me later it was totally worth it though :)

Ice cream...every. single. night.

Trying to tire Bryce out so he would sleep at night.  Mission NOT accomplished.

Face painting from the carnival Friday afternoon.

A picture from the bible school program on Friday night.  Alyssa sung her little heart out and did all the motions.  This little lady is going to LOVE school in a couple weeks :)
