We were invited to our neighbor Kalin's 3rd birthday party on Saturday afternoon at Deanna's playhouse. While the circumstances that brought Kalin here from California were very tragic, my girls are glad he's here and that his adoption has been finalized! We tried to get a picture with the birthday boy but he was so busy running around with all of his friends. Kalin will be moving to a new house in the next few weeks and it's going to be a sad day when that happens. Alyssa loves to go out on our deck around 4:30 in the afternoons and wait for Kalin to come home. She just stares at his backyard waiting for him to get back from daycare. They have so much fun together on the swingset, the tramp, and riding the gator. We'll miss having him next door but he won't be moving too far away so hopefully he will still get to come over to play. 
Waiting for cake to be served. Note Bryce hanging out in the background. He was such a trooper and was content to stay in his carseat and eventually fell asleep.
